So far, Daye Special Steel has become the 10th raw material LCS supplier of Pratt & Whitney Group in the world, and the first and only LCS supplier in China.
Recognition doesn't come easily. Since the second half of 2023, after 16 months of multiple rounds of on-site audits by a number of materials, metallurgy and inspection experts from Pratt & Whitney Canada and China, sending staff to the United States for LCS examination, supervision of the whole process of trial orders, finished product inspection and comprehensive comparison with international third-party authoritative laboratories and other series of "assessments", Daye Special Steel has officially become the first and only qualified steel supplier of Pratt & Whitney Group in China. At this point, Daye Special Steel officially has its own number and identity in the global supplier list of Pratt & Whitney Group, and has also won the "green pass" for downstream suppliers in the supply chain.

The company's aircraft engines are widely used in the international aviation field. Previously, Pratt & Whitney had 714 suppliers in 31 countries, but only nine qualified suppliers of raw materials (seven American, one Russian and one British). Laboratory Control at Source (LCS), referred to as "source control", is a whole-process, whole-system management concept implemented by Pratt & Whitney Group, which is widely trusted and relied on in the international aviation industry. The approved products have an "inspection free" pass in Pratt & Whitney's global supply chain, which is not only a reflection of quality assurance capabilities, but also reduces the huge inspection costs of downstream customers and saves process efficiency.
